Good. Nature is an a good subject for serenity. The low angle hot of the bare trees, the mountain range and the autumn leaves are the standouts. Some represent the calm but could be emphasized more through the lens. The shot of the lake and the first fountain would be stronger with better composition. I'd like to see some people showing serenity too.
I liked how you changed from a bright scene outside at the waterfall to a dark scene inside with the candles. The music was a good choice and gave a nice relaxed vibe to the video.
Right away I liked how you placed the title in the lower right hand corner - sort of understated and calming. Really great selection of music and wonderful shots - I particularly liked the shots of the birds. Very relaxing.
This video relaxed me. I liked how it switched between warm and cool colors with the candles and then the open sky. It was a peaceful feeling and the music added a nice touch to it.
I really liked your pans on all of the candles, where is that? Maybe try varying your transitions a bit, I think they were all cross dissolves. Very tranquil though. peaceful. The music helped.
This was a very peaceful video, I felt at ease by the end of it. The only thing I could think to change for me, would have been the shot of the centered candle on the (what I believe was a chess board) was almost a bit creepy to me. Made me get a ouija board kinda feel.
I think the candle shots added a lot to the feel of serenity and the way they kept on multiplying and increasing it just made you feel more and more calm. The lighting also really helped because in those completely dark rooms there was only enough light to see each candle giving almost the appearance of them just gently floating.

ReplyDeleteGood music choice. It's a very calming song. It felt like it should have been the end scenes in a romance movie.
ReplyDeletethe ending scene with the candles was very shaky, but overall it displayed your emotion very well

ReplyDeleteCandles were a perfect choice for serenity. And St. Joseph river actually looked nice!
ReplyDeleteIt portrays serenity well. I like the slow movement of the camera. I wish you had more footage of different locations.
