#4. I recently watched a video about a man who was born colorblind. He created a device that attaches to his head and turns color into audible frequencies. He can't see color, but he can hear a symphony.
My fourth idea stems from this. I would like to create a split screen video displaying the views of someone who would be colorblind and someone who can see the world as it is.
Perfect. This is a great concept. Have you heard of synesthesia? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia
ReplyDeleteThe song "Color is Gold" by Paper Cameras in the music resource library is about this. Music video concept perhaps?
This is an incredible concept. I never realized how much we rely on color and what challenges a person who is fully colorblind might face. Since I'm kind of interested in music informatics as it relates to new media, I find this fascinating!! I think you should really work at developing this video.
